West Shore woes

What is going on at Llandudno's West Shore??

The pool is still empty leaving feathered residents without a home
The 'Alice in Wonderland' hotel site is an eyesore...when will building work start
The so-called cycle path is impassable because of all the sand
Work on re-opening the bridge over the railway has been delayed
AND
There is still dog mess everywhere despite repeated attempts to tell owners not to let their dogs foul....rub their noses in it (the owners' not the dogs')
Do the powers-that-be want to drive tourists away from the town forever?

Great day to start a blog

No cycling on the prom
The West Shore pool still empty
Still a gap on the pier at the derelict site next to the Grand
Work still being carried out to repair the Orme tramway
The A55 still full of traffic cones
A madcap council full of has-beens, never-will-bes and bootlickers
Wind turbines looming on the horizon
and. . .
traffic wardens lurking behind every bush
BUT
what a great place to be now that Llandudno is starting to unwrap itself from winter ready for the influx of visitors with.....
The best prom in the UK
Magnificent views from the top of the Orme
Despite all the criticism it receives - a great spring programme at Venue Cymru
The stark magnificence of the the West Shore
The best fish and chip shops in Wales
A whole range of places to stay from quality hotels right down to three or four room BandBs - but all with a warm welcome
Plenty of places just to sit and people-watch the world drift by.
